Business Development Coordinator
A quota-carrying, revenue-owning role. You own the full cycle — prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation and close — without leadership sitting on the deal.
Full-time · Based in Kochi, Kerala · Work from home · Quota-carrying · Gallivant Ventures LLP
The targets
What the job carries.
These are revenue targets, not earnings. They are on this page because you should know what the role is measured against before you apply, not after.

The role
Own the deal, end to end.
You drive new business for Qualified Deals. The role owns the complete business development lifecycle — from prospecting and opportunity creation through pricing, negotiation and independent closure — selling research-led lead generation to B2B clients across IT, SaaS, AI, data and professional services.
What you own
Eight responsibilities. All of them yours.
-
01
Revenue and sales ownership
You carry the quarterly and annual revenue targets and close against them. Deals run across one-time, volume-based and retainer engagement models, prioritised by ICP fit, deal value and probability of close.
-
02
Full-cycle sales and deal closure
You own the cycle end to end: prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, closure. Inbound and outbound opportunities run concurrently, and routine deals close without leadership dependency.
-
03
Industry-specific selling
You sell to IT, SaaS and AI companies, B2B service providers, agencies, startups and enterprises. The offerings are human-verified B2B leads, ICP-based company and contact lists, market research and sales enablement data.
-
04
Outbound prospecting and touchpoints
You run consistent outbound outreach — cold calling, email campaigns and WhatsApp — rather than waiting on inbound. Cadence is yours to hold.
-
05
Pricing, commercials and contracts
You lead pricing discussions using the approved frameworks and rate cards, tailor proposals and scopes of work to each requirement, and negotiate and finalise deals independently while protecting margin.
-
06
Pipeline, CRM and forecasting
You keep the CRM pipeline clean and the forecast accurate across deal stages, revenue projections and closure timelines. No opportunity is lost to weak follow-up.
-
07
Research and opportunity identification
You identify target accounts, decision-makers and buying signals, and conduct the account and market research a conversation needs before it starts.
-
08
Operational execution
You handle CRM updates, documentation, onboarding coordination and deal handovers, and support invoicing and internal coordination tied to closed deals.
How the job is measured
Four metrics. Reviewed every quarter.
Revenue is the primary metric. The other three explain it, and they are why a number hit badly does not count as a number hit.
- Revenue closed vs. target
- Measured quarterly and annually, against the two figures above. The primary metric — everything else explains it.
- Pipeline health
- Enough qualified opportunity at each stage to cover the next quarter, kept current in the CRM.
- Deal velocity
- Days from first touch to signature, tracked per deal and reviewed per quarter.
- Margin discipline
- Deals closed inside the approved rate card, without discounting to make a number.
