Comparison · QD vs RocketReach
RocketReach finds a contact. We deliver 750, verified, as one file.
RocketReach is a per-seat tool your reps look people up with. We are a firm you brief once. This page sets the two side by side on accuracy — as they state it and as others have tested it — on what each one checks, and on price, with a source and a date on every figure.

The difference
Two accuracy claims, and whose they are.
| Measure | RocketReach | Qualified Deals |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A per-seat lookup tool. Plans are priced per seat per month, with unlimited email lookups on the entry tier and phone lookups above it. rocketreach.co/pricing · checked 18 Aug 2026 | A research project. You brief a senior analyst once, and a finished file comes back. Pilot scope · 2026 |
| Accuracy, as they state it | RocketReach states “up to 98%” on A-grade emails and 90–98% deliverability on verified emails, alongside published fill rates of 85%+ for email and 60%+ for direct phone. RocketReach published claims · 18 Aug 2026 | We target 92%+ deliverability and back it: above an 8% hard-bounce rate we replace every bounced record free. Stated guarantee · 2026 |
| Accuracy, as tested elsewhere | Independent testing cited in third-party reviews puts real-world accuracy lower, in the mid-70s to mid-80s. Third-party research · 18 Aug 2026 · not our finding | We have run no test of RocketReach’s data and publish none. Our own figure is a target we stand behind, not a measurement of anybody else’s database. Stated guarantee · 2026 |
| What you receive | Contacts looked up in the tool or exported by your team, against the seats you license and the export caps on your tier. rocketreach.co/pricing · checked 18 Aug 2026 | 750 verified leads across 250 companies, as XLSX and a CSV that imports cleanly, 5–7 days from a confirmed brief. No seats, no metering. Pilot scope · 2026 |
| Bounce policy | None stated on RocketReach’s published pages. rocketreach.co/pricing · checked 18 Aug 2026 | Seven-day bounce replacement. Report above 8% inside the window and every bounced record is replaced, re-verified, within 5 working days. Stated guarantee · 2026 |
These do different jobs. RocketReach is built for the lookup — a rep needs a contact, and it returns one. A Pilot is built for the list a campaign runs on. A team that mostly needs the first is well served without us.
Both accuracy figures above are other people’s. RocketReach’s is their published claim, quoted with the scope they attach to it. The lower range is third-party research, and it is not our finding — we have not tested RocketReach’s data, and we do not publish measurements of a competitor’s database.
How we verify
Brief, Source, Verify, QA and deliver.
| Stage | What happens | Artifact produced |
|---|---|---|
| 01 Brief | A 30-minute Project Brief call with a senior analyst — not an SDR — to scope the ICP, territory, titles, volume and timeline. Ten fields, all required before research begins. If the brief shows we are not a fit, we say so before any work starts. | The signed research brief |
| 02 Source | Analysts map the territory across twenty-plus sources — ZoomInfo, Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, Lusha, Crunchbase, PitchBook and company websites — triangulated rather than exported. Accounts outside the brief are dropped here. | The raw master source sheet |
| 03 Verify | Every contact is cross-checked by a person against LinkedIn and the company website: current role confirmed, employer matched, email format validated. The date of that check is recorded on the row. SMTP-only verification is the floor, not the ceiling. | The LinkedIn cross-check log |
| 04 QA and deliver | A 10% spot-check by a second person, with zero QA failures permitted — anything that fails goes back to the analyst. Records that cannot be confirmed are removed, not shipped as Pending. Then a CRM-ready XLSX and CSV with a count summary. | The QA spot-check sheet |
What you receive
One workbook, four sheets, and a CSV that imports cleanly.
Delivered as QD_[Client]_[Package]_[YYYYMMDD].xlsx with a matching UTF-8 CSV for direct CRM import. Phone columns are formatted as text, so long numbers do not arrive as scientific notation.

If RocketReach is already in the stack
Three things buyers say first.
We use RocketReach for quick lookups.
The lookup is not the list
Whatever tool surfaces a contact, the same step still has to happen afterwards: someone confirms the person still holds the job. We triangulate across twenty-plus sources and then check every record by hand before it becomes your list. A lookup answers one question at a time; a campaign needs the whole file to hold.
RocketReach claims 98% accuracy.
Read the scope on it
Their figure is “up to 98%” on A-grade emails — their wording — alongside published fill rates of 85%+ for email. Independent testing cited in third-party reviews puts real-world accuracy lower, in the mid-70s to mid-80s. We have not tested it. What we put a number behind is our own file, and ours carries a replacement clause.
Per-seat pricing is cheap for a small team.
Cheap per seat, not per list
Their Pro tier is $75 a seat a month on annual billing. Across four reps that is roughly $3,600 a year, and a lookup tool still leaves the verification with your team. A Pilot is $420 for 750 leads already checked, with no seats to license and nothing renewing.
Cost
Seats you license, against a project you finish.
RocketReach’s figures are their published rate card for annual billing, read on 18 August 2026; monthly billing is priced higher, and their Custom Team Plans start at $6,000 a year. Ours is the published Pilot price. Both are rate cards rather than estimates, which is not true of every comparison on this site. Both rows exclude tax.
Figures outside USD are converted at the mid-market rates recorded for 16 August 2026. Our own prices are unchanged from the pricing page.
FAQ
What buyers ask when RocketReach is already in the stack.
Is Qualified Deals a RocketReach alternative, or a complement to it?
Mostly a complement, because the two answer different questions. RocketReach is built for the lookup a rep needs in the moment — one contact, found now. We build the list a campaign runs on: 750 records, checked by a person, delivered as one file. Teams that keep a seat for ad-hoc lookups and commission projects for campaign lists are using each for the job it is good at.
What does Qualified Deals add on top of a lookup tool?
The step after the lookup, applied to every row rather than the one you happened to search. Analysts triangulate across twenty-plus sources, then a researcher opens the person’s LinkedIn profile and the company website, confirms the name, the exact title and the current employer, and records the date of that check on the row. Anything that cannot be confirmed is removed rather than shipped. A lookup tool hands you a record; we hand you a file where every record has been through that.
How does RocketReach’s 98% claim compare with independently-tested accuracy?
RocketReach states “up to 98%” on A-grade emails and 90–98% deliverability on verified emails, and publishes fill rates of 85%+ for email and 60%+ for direct phone — their figures, with their scope. Independent testing cited in third-party reviews puts real-world accuracy lower, in the mid-70s to mid-80s. We have not tested RocketReach ourselves and that lower range is not our finding, so both are presented as what they are: their claim, and someone else’s measurement. Ours is a 92%+ deliverability target with a replacement clause attached, which is a different kind of statement from either.
Can I use RocketReach for lookups and Qualified Deals for a bulk verified list?
Yes, and that is the sensible split. Keep the seat for the contact someone needs today; commission a project when a campaign needs a list that holds. Delivery is a CRM-ready XLSX plus a UTF-8 CSV with a BOM, with field mapping agreed before delivery, so it lands in the same stack the seat already feeds.

Weighing more than one of these.

- A seat that reveals contacts credit by credit, against 750 verified in a single file. How volume works, how each is checked, and what a year costs.
- Capture, one contact at a time
- A Chrome extension for the moment a rep is on a profile, against a finished list. Includes the one thing they do better than us, said plainly.
